Reviews for Tatay Pepe's Tapsilogan - Pureza
Review highlights
Based on 107 reviewsTatay Pepe's Tapsilogan - Pureza is recognized for its flavorful and affordable silog dishes, particularly their tapa offerings, which many patrons find satisfying and well-portioned. Customers appreciate the variety of menu options and the availability of frozen tapa for takeaway. However, feedback highlights concerns regarding hygiene, with reports of unclean food preparation areas, and some customers have noted excessive greasiness in certain dishes. Service quality appears inconsistent; while the food is praised, some reviews mention unwelcoming and inattentive staff, which affects the overall dining experience. Additionally, the restaurant's atmosphere can be impacted by unregulated solicitations inside the premises. Improvements in air conditioning and enhanced customer service could elevate the visitor experience. Overall, Tatay Pepe's offers a compelling balance of taste and value but would benefit from stronger attention to cleanliness and hospitality.
Their food is impeccable, especially their Tapa. There are a lot of Silog options you can choose from. You can also order frozen tapa on-the-go. This is a must try. Hopefully they could improve on air conditioning.
The food was excessively greasy/oily, making it unappetizing. There were flies on the rice while the cook was preparing it, raising concerns about hygiene. Staff are not approachable nor welcoming. Overall, the experience was marred by poor customer service, with inattentive staff and unhygienic conditions.
In today's world of skyrocketing prices and high inflation, a restaurant that serves good food at a cheap price is rare. But this restaurant has managed to strike the perfect balance between quality and affordability. Not only does this restaurant offer delicious food at an affordable price, but they also seem to know exactly what the people want. Their portions are perfectly sized and the rice to ulam ratio is just right for the average Filipino.
It was refer by a friend, he brough us here and we enjoy the food...we order bangus tapa, sisig
My favorite place and solid silogan. the king tapa is still the best -⭐ SO MANY SOLICITATIONS. kids are literally loitering inside and kept asking for food and money.
This is one of the most affordable tapsilog places in the area. For under 100 pesos, you can enjoy a decent meal. I highly recommend the tapa—it was delicious! The space is quite small, so I suggest opting for takeout, though they do offer dine-in options if you prefer to eat there.
At an affordable price, they have their own brand of recipe for tapsilogan. It's a good place for them since the area has a lot of people passing by and near the schools. No parking lot for cars but a motor has but take your own risk. Nice product.
The food is good. Ilang beses na kami bumalik dito ng friends ko. The price is more on the expensive side, kaya we only eat here to treat ourselves rather than on a daily basis. Highly recommended!
